Acrylic on A3 paper.
I painted this in 2025.
I have grown to love this painting. It remained untitled for a while, but I decided to name it Chilato. This is Tumbuka for Vision. I didn't grow up with a lot, but it was enough for a time. The world was small when I was younger. What we had wasn't much and yet somehow, here I am. My eyes were set on things above and they still are. I shall not dwell on the lack, or my circumstances but focus on the vision.
